Click it or Ticket May 18-June 1, 2025

Memorial Day is one of the busiest travel holidays in the nation, and our agency is urging all drivers and passengers to buckle up.

During Click it or Ticket, drivers will be met with extra enforcement by our agency. We will be on the lookout for all unrestrained drivers, passengers, and children traveling on our roadways. 

According to Labette County Undersheriff Gregory S. Haraughty, "Your seat belt could be what saves you and those riding with you and those riding with you. Insist that everyone in the vehicle is restrained before you start."

"I also want people to know that in the interest of saving lives, The Labette County Sheriff's Office is committed to ticketing and educating those in violation of adult seatbelt and child safety law, as well as other traffic infractions because we want you to be as safe as possible on your travels"
