Inmate Bonding Procedures

Confirm the inmate's charges and bond amount with the Labette County Correctional Staff PRIOR to posting any bond.

The Labette County Jail offers three primary methods for posting bonds or adding funds to an inmate's account, which can be used toward bond payments where applicable. These options are designed to accommodate varying needs, from remote access to immediate in-person transactions.

  • Online Bonding via www.jailatm.com: Families and supporters can securely post bonds or deposit funds 24/7 from anywhere with an internet connection. This user-friendly platform eliminates the need for travel and allows for quick processing using credit or debit cards. To get started, visit www.jailatm.com, search for Labette County Jail, and follow the prompts to create an account and complete the transaction. Funds are typically credited immediately, helping to expedite the release process.
  • In-Person Lobby Kiosk: For those preferring a direct approach, the jail lobby features a state-of-the-art money kiosk available during regular business hours. Visitors can use cash, credit, or debit cards to add funds to an inmate's account on-site. The kiosk provides clear instructions and ensures all transactions are secure and verified. Please note that cash and checks are not accepted through mail, and all monetary deposits must go through these approved channels.
  • Authorized Bondsmen from the 11th Judicial District: For surety bonds requiring a licensed professional, you may contact an authorized bondsman approved by the 11th Judicial District (covering Labette, Cherokee, and Crawford counties).
