Inmate Healthcare Services
The Labette County Jail provides medical and mental health services to those inmates who require such services.
Inmates are charged fees to utilize services in the Labette County Jail, however, regardless of ability to pay, inmates are provided appropriate care while they are in our custody.
The Labette County Jail contracts medical services for inmates thru Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC-SEK). This facility works diligently with CHC-SEK to provide inmates with the best quality of healthcare.

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas
The Labette County Jail partners with the Labette Center for Mental Health Services (LCMHS) to provide specialized treatment programs for inmates who qualify for such programs and reentry counseling. In addition, LCMHS provides crisis services for inmates who are experiencing mental health episodes to ensure they are receiving proper care while in custody.
There is no fee to utilized these services.
