Burglary & Theft

1:41 p.m. Labette Co. Sheriff's Deputies were sent to 26042 Irving Rd. for a burglary/theft report. While at the residence a cell phone was recovered that didn't belong to the owner. After taking the report, deputies found out the owner of the cell phone belonged to a Karla Lassen.
At 3:15 p.m. Deputies stopped Karla Lassen in the 2100 block of Clark St. and recovered jewelry stolen from the residence along with numerous other items taken from the residence. Deputies subsequently arrested Karla Lassen (35) for burglary, theft & possession of a controlled substance. Lassen is currently being held at the Labette Co. Jail.
